Who we are
Gemstone Memorials is a granite monument manufacturer and wholesaler in Youngstown, Ohio. We make the memorial. Our partners, the funeral homes, cemeteries and monument retailers who serve the family, sell it at their own price. We never sell direct, and pricing lives only in the retailer portal.
Every memorial starts with a proof. Our designer draws it, you and the family approve it, and only then does production begin. We are members of MBNA, ICCFA, PLPA and WVFDA.
Four steps, start to finish
You send the design request

You approve the proof
We send a proof with a trade quote in 7 to 14 days. Nothing goes into production until you approve the proof.
The memorial is made
The granite arrives cut and polished from our quarry partners. We letter, carve, etch and leaf it in our Youngstown shop, exactly as the approved proof shows.
We ship or set it
We ship nationwide, direct to the cemetery or to your place of business. In Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and West Virginia our own crews can also set the memorial.

Proof and sample before production
You approve a proof before production starts. Account holders can request a sample kit from their Gemstone representative so the family sees the real stone.

Every proof shows the drawing, lettering, dimensions, finish and material.

You know the cost before you show the family.
Care on cemetery property
When our crews set a memorial, we work with care on the cemetery's grounds and follow its rules.
Where your memorials are made
We receive the granite cut and polished, as a blank, from our quarry and manufacturing partners.
All of the customization happens in our Youngstown shop: layout, lettering, carving, etching and leafing. That is where a blank becomes the memorial the family asked for.
